W.E.B Dubois and Booker T. Washington had different approaches because Washington gave importance to economic power while Dubois focused on political power to gain rights. Washington said that African Americans needed to have education to actually get somewhere in life. He helped the African Americans socially by the creation the Tuskegee Institute in 1881. The institute helped African Americans learn farming and industrial skills. He thought differently than DuBois because their lifestyle and the way they thought. They both had their own ideas on how to gain rights for the African Americans.
The other person who worked for the rights of African Americans was W.E.B DuBois. Dubois formed the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People(NAACP). This group helps to build efforts of legal and economic equality for African Americans. DuBois ran for important positions to continue his progress. He would do what he could to keep the African Americans protected but he had different approaches from Washington.
I agree with Washington perspective. He makes more sense than DuBois
